A Narcissist's Woes

I am the one I think wisest,
I am the one I know best.
I have so much love for me,
I delight in my own company.
I never need another,
I am my grandest lover.

On cloudy days and moonlit nights,
when into the looking glass I see,
I'm overcome by such admiration,
that I kiss my winsome reflection.

The heartless mirror, however,
it doesn't kiss me back. No. Never.
Frozen cold against my lips,
the devil laughs as it quips.
